Bible Verses to End the Year On - November

Beginning in mid November, daily devotional readings resulted in a text message to family members in an effort to use technology to share verses among the family while having all to build the daily Bible reading habit.  Here are those texts:

November 18th - Earlier this morning I read several chapters in 2 Kings.  Here are some verses about King Hezekiah.  He trusted in the Lord...he clave to the Lord, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments...and the Lord was with him, and he prospered.

November 19th - Good Saturday morning.  This morning I read the prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10 where he called on the Lord for a blessing - and the Lord granted his request.  Check it out!

November 22nd - 1 Chronicles 5:20 - The Lord helped the Israelites win a battle because "they put their trust in Him."

November 23rd - 1 Chronicles 16 - give thanks unto the Lord...make known his deeds among the people...remember His marvelous works that He hath done!

November 24th - 1 Chronicles 22:13 - David let Solomon know that he would prosper if he followed the statutes and judgments of the Lord.

November 25th - 1 Chronicles 29:17 - the Lord has pleasure in us walking in uprightness!

November 26th - 2 Chronicles 7:14 - we need to examine ourselves, earnestly seek the Lord, and eliminate sin.

November 28th - 2 Chronicles 10 tells how King Reheboam had a choice to listen to the counsel of either the wiser older folks or the counsel of his peers.  He chose to follow his peers and lost!

November 29th - One of my favorite verses to challenge me on a daily basis is 2 Chronicles 26:5 which refers to young King Uzziah - "as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper."

November 30th - 2 Chronicles 34:3 - Josiah was 16 years old - "while he was yet young, he began to seek after God".  He did what was right in the sight of the Lord.
